Bachelorette Georgia Love has wasted no time in scoring herself a new gig on the same network that brought her into the living rooms of reality-TV fans.

Love has accepted a panelist gig on Network Ten’s morning show, Studio Ten, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The lifestyle and current affairs offering currently features journalists Jessica Rowe and Joe Hildebrand, and media veterans Ita Buttrose and Denise Drysdale.

It’s been a tumultuous time for Love, who only last week lost her mother to pancreatic cancer, just weeks after revealing she had chosen Melbourne plumber Lee Elliot on the dating show.

It’s so hard to know what to say in this instance. What I’d originally thought I’d be posting today was a gushy message all about love, butterflies, fireworks and just how happy @leeroyelliott makes me every day and how lucky I feel to have found the love of my life through this crazy experience. And while all of this couldn’t be more true, it’s not the most important thing to say right now. What should be one of the most exciting weeks of my life has instead turned into one of the hardest with my family going through something no one ever wants to face. But a small solace I can find in this extremely difficult time is that I have this amazing man by my side and for that I feel so lucky. He’s been so incredibly supportive and loving and managed to make me smile and laugh every day despite everything else. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us and followed my story. The messages of love and support have been overwhelming and so so humbling. Thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Love quit her job as a news reporter with WIN in Tasmania to go on The Bachelorette, citing her mother’s diagnosis as inspiration to find someone “to come home to”.

After the news of her mother’s death, Love wrote in a lengthy Instagram post that she could find some solace during the “extremely difficult time” knowing she had “an amazing man” by her side.

“He’s been so incredibly supportive and loving and managed to make me smile and laugh every day despite everything else,” she wrote.

I am so overwhelmed by the huge outpouring of love, support and condolences from all over the world since announcing the devastating news of my beautiful mum's passing. I'm absolutely amazed by the number of messages I've received from others who've been through or are going through the same heartbreak, let alone from those who are just sending well wishes. Thank you to every single person who has shared even a single thought for me and my family. This is an absolutely awful time in our lives and we know the hurt will continue for a long time. But one thing my mum taught me was to believe in paying it forward and that from every negative can come even the slightest positive. So I hope my family's gut wrenching loss can create some awareness of the brutal disease that is pancreatic cancer and hopefully do some good in helping to find a cure. November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. If you have time, please head to www.pancare.org.au and if you have even a dollar spare, please think of donating or buying a purple ribbon or wrist band to wear this month in support of @pancareaus and let's hope the sobering statistic of a 7% survival rate for this awful cancer can be changed 💜💜💜 #pancare #pancarefoundation #pancreaticcancer #pancreaticcancerawarenessmonth #bacheloretteau
