Bachelorette Georgia Love has wasted no time in scoring herself a new gig on the same network that brought her into the living rooms of reality-TV fans.
Love has accepted a panelist gig on Network Ten’s morning show, Studio Ten, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The lifestyle and current affairs offering currently features journalists Jessica Rowe and Joe Hildebrand, and media veterans Ita Buttrose and Denise Drysdale.
It’s been a tumultuous time for Love, who only last week lost her mother to pancreatic cancer, just weeks after revealing she had chosen Melbourne plumber Lee Elliot on the dating show.
Love quit her job as a news reporter with WIN in Tasmania to go on The Bachelorette, citing her mother’s diagnosis as inspiration to find someone “to come home to”.
After the news of her mother’s death, Love wrote in a lengthy Instagram post that she could find some solace during the “extremely difficult time” knowing she had “an amazing man” by her side.
“He’s been so incredibly supportive and loving and managed to make me smile and laugh every day despite everything else,” she wrote.
